Roof Repair in Atlanta & North Georgia
Most leaks don't need a new roof. We find the source, fix that, and tell you honestly how much life your roof has left.
Roof repairs we handle
Small failures on a roof rarely stay small. These are the problems we fix on their own, without tearing off sound shingles around them.
- 01
Missing or blown-off shingles
Gaps left after high wind, re-sealed and re-shingled. Wind or hail event? See our storm damage repair page.
- 02
Chimney, skylight & wall leaks
Step and counter flashing reset or replaced where the roof meets a vertical surface.
- 03
Pipe boots & vent collars
Cracked rubber boots and worn collars around plumbing vents and exhaust pipes.
- 04
Ridge cap & ridge vent
Loose, cracked or lifted caps along the peak, and damaged ridge venting.
- 05
Small areas of soft decking
Spongy spots cut out and replaced with new decking before the shingles go back on.
- 06
Drip edge & fascia at the roof edge
Bent or missing drip edge and the fascia damage that follows when water runs behind it.
- 07
Repairs after a fallen limb
Punctured shingles, cracked decking and torn flashing where a branch came down. If the limb fell during a storm, start with our storm & hail damage page.
How we find a leak
Water travels before it drips. The stain on your ceiling is often not under the hole.
Rain gets in at one spot, then runs along a rafter, the decking or a pipe before it finds a place to fall. Patching the shingles right above the stain can miss the real problem entirely, so we follow the water back to where it started.
- 1Check the attic. We look for wet wood, staining and daylight from the inside.
- 2Trace the path. We follow the water marks uphill to the point of entry.
- 3Inspect above it. Flashing, pipe boots, vents and every penetration in that area.
- 4Photograph it. You see exactly what we found before anything is fixed.

Repair or replace?
We'd rather fix the one bad spot than sell you a roof you don't need yet. Here's how we decide.
A repair makes sense when
- The problem is in one local area
- The roof is fairly young
- The decking underneath is sound
Consider replacement when
- Leaks keep showing up in new places
- Shingles are failing across the whole roof
- The roof is near the end of its life

How much does a roof repair cost?
Most of the price comes down to access, roof pitch and what's behind the leak. You get a written price after the inspection. [CONFIRM: whether to publish a typical range]
Can you match my existing shingles?
We match as closely as we can. Older or discontinued shingles may not match exactly, and we'll show you before we install.
Do you offer emergency repairs?
[CONFIRM: emergency repair and tarping availability]
Is a repair covered by warranty?
[CONFIRM: repair warranty terms]
Should I call my insurance company first?
If the damage came from a storm, an inspection first helps you decide whether a claim makes sense. See our storm damage page.
